Ron Hall, author of The NY Times Best Selling Book, Same Kind of Different as Me, and Co-Screenwriter and a Producer of the upcoming Paramount Pictures / Pure Flix Entertainment film with the same name will be in Jackson for a very special "Make a Difference" lunch. The event is presented by The Community Foundation of Greater Jackson and the Everybody Can Help Somebody Foundation and will directly benefit two very important organizations in Mississippi - Gateway Rescue Mission and Stewpot Community Services.
Ron Hall is an excellent speaker and has a powerful story to tell. He and his homeless friend, Denver Moore (who passed away in 2012), have helped raise over $100 million to support homeless initiatives throughout the United States. Ironically, the only city to ever cancel on Ron and Denver was Jackson, Mississippi, due to what was described as a "lack of interest”. Now, he is coming back to Jackson - the city where the movie about his incredible journey was filmed - in what will be a powerful 90 minutes.
Please make plans to join us at this lunch and tell others about this exciting opportunity to hear the story that has inspired millions to make a difference in the lives of others.
